An awfully grey and wet black rock sands. Typical of the whole (short) day. - IMG_1636.JPG
Perched on the crags above Tremadhog. Would have been a magnificent view if it wasn't so shrouded in cloud. The flooding is fairly natural. - IMG_1659.JPG
Up out of some woods, into some very lonely wild terrain at ~200m. Took about a minute before I was noticed. - IMG_1684.JPG
A slow worm seen in the middle of fighting through some quite amazingly hostile terrain. - IMG_1705.JPG

About half of Cnicht trying to tower over Croesor. Its normally quite handy at it! - Rhaeadr Cynfal
Rhaeadr Cynfal carrying a *lot* of water. A bit disconcerting standing so close to it actually, even with the very well built viewing platform. - IMG_1763.JPG
Cynfal gorge with plenty of water (and on the paths!). - IMG_1766.JPG
More cynfal gorge. This is from a bridge. There's a chunk of the gorge but it was far too wet underfoot to have tried the path by it. - IMG_1774.JPG
Stairs! - IMG_1801.JPG
Portmeirion looking perhaps even more out of place than usual from the coast path! - IMG_1832.JPG
A good view of the cloud blanket that had been around for the first three days! - IMG_1839.JPG
Finally some sunshine on Harlech beach! Nice wave patterns too. Good views of the Llyn hills over the water from round here. - IMG_1850.JPG
Rhinogs from a little bit out of Llanbedr. Magnificent, and sunshine on me/coast. Still cloud on the hills. - IMG_1884.JPG
A very pleasant woodland valley running off the Rhinogs into talybont. Even a bit of sun. - IMG_1923.JPG
Madwach estuary from the Barmouth bridge. Rubbish light but utterly lovely scenery. - IMG_1945.JPG
Pastels on the Madwach trail - once a railway I believe, and a properly stunning one at that. Especially when all the old woods were still there. - IMG_1948.JPG
Humph. At least they're trying. Might be repaired in a few centuries. - IMG_1968.JPG
The top of Cadair Idris finally breaking fully clear late in the evening. - IMG_1994.JPG
The mildly implausible little hills above the Cregennen lakes. Cadair Idris was hiding in cloud again. - IMG_1998.JPG
More pastels :) - IMG_2013.JPG
Bryn brith. Deeply impressive for a 350 meter hill in the shadow of an 850m one. - IMG_2015.JPG
One of the Cregennen lakes with a view out to some distant things. - IMG_2024.JPG
Craig-y-llyn. It would rate as a impressive hill in most company but does tend to get rather over shadowed by the higher bits of Cadair Idris over to the west.
