This was the 30+ degree day (Seriously bipolar weather!). Just trotted down the canal to Welshpool then buses. This is early mist on the Shropshire hills. - IMG_2574.JPG
Llangynog, and getting towards some real hill territory. Some really lovely steep sided valleys round here. Too hot to explore. The 'new' inn, is new as in 1700's..... - IMG_2620.JPG
Now this dog did give the impression it might have followed on a walk! - IMG_2631.JPG
The high Berwyns, complete with a decent range of crags. I'd retreated from them amid prudent hedging cf potential serious thunderstorms. Still found various nice tracks around their foothills. The view was a bit more impressive than the photos turned out. - IMG_2660.JPG
A bit of the Ceiriog valley. - IMG_2677.JPG
The worlds end cliffs sort of sheltering Llangollen. - IMG_2683.JPG
Nice view for a B&B window! - IMG_2703.JPG
Contouring round under some very impressive limestone cliffs. - IMG_2716.JPG
A busy road ;) - IMG_2717.JPG
A fine way marker. - IMG_2718.JPG
The only really empty seeming moorland on the whole walk I think. On Offa's dyke path still, so not really. - IMG_2754.JPG
A curious welcoming committee. - IMG_2766.JPG
The vast view from the hills before reaching Moel Famau. - IMG_2771.JPG
Moel Famau itself. This has, well, issues! Nice thinnish footpaths in the rest of the range but this is ugly. As for the jubilee tower, well..... Still it pretty well marked the end of my walk so here it is :)
